LearnBoost welcomes Argonaut High
Argonaut High School is located in Jackson, CA and is one of 2 high schools in Amador County Unified School District the other being Amador High School. It is a public school with about 700 students in grades 9-12. Previously known as "Jackson High School" since it's opening it merged with "Ione High School" in 1984 to become "Argonaut High School" named after the mine just 10 miles off campus.
Argonaut High recived the coveted california destinguished school award
Argonaut high school is home of the Mustangs they participate in the Mother Load Youth Athletic League. They are well known for there exceptional football program. They share a heated rivalry with the Amador High School Buffaloes. They play every year for the "Rotary Bell" in the Big Game, whoever wins the game will keep the bell for a full year.
